Bachelor of Business
Monash University, Melbourne, VIC, Australia
About this program
Monash's Bachelor of Business gives students a broad grounding in how organisations, brands and markets actually function, while leaving room to specialise in one or two chosen areas of business practice rather than locking students into a single discipline from year one. The course is designed for students with varied ambitions, whether that's a corporate career, work in a not-for-profit, entrepreneurship or eventually running their own business, and it builds in study-abroad and internship options so students can apply classroom concepts in a real workplace or a different country before graduating. That combination of broad foundational knowledge and later specialisation is aimed at students who know they want a business career but haven't yet settled on a specific discipline like accounting, marketing or finance, giving them time to explore before committing to a major. Graduates are prepared for roles across both private-sector enterprises and public-sector organisations, and the flexible structure means the degree can also serve as a foundation for postgraduate specialisation later.
