About this program
Monash's Bachelor of Digital Business is built around the shift toward digital technologies inside modern organisations, covering business intelligence, digital disruption and transformation, and the strategic use of artificial intelligence across functions like marketing, operations and finance. Rather than treating technology as a separate IT concern, the course positions students to lead the adoption of emerging technologies within a business context, preparing them to act as the people inside an organisation who drive digital change rather than simply respond to it. This makes it a useful degree for students who want a business qualification with genuine technical fluency, without the depth of a computer science or software engineering degree, since the emphasis stays on applying digital tools to business problems rather than building the tools themselves. Course structure
- You must complete units as specified in Parts A
- B and C (144 credit points): including 96 credit points of study in Parts A and B and 48 credit points of electives in Part C. In choosing your units
- you must ensure that you complete no more than ten units (60 credit points) at level 1 and at least six units (36 credit points) at level 3
- including four units (24 credit points) at level 3 offered by the Faculty of Business and Economics. Units are 6 credit points unless otherwise specified. Part A.
