Bachelor of Marketing

Monash University, Melbourne, VIC, Australia

About this program

Monash's Bachelor of Marketing focuses on how organisations create, communicate, deliver and exchange value with customers, combining marketing-specific study with a general business education so graduates understand marketing decisions in the context of the wider organisation rather than in isolation. Students build analytic, creative and strategic marketing skills across areas like consumer behaviour, brand management, digital marketing and market research, developing the practical decision-making ability that professional marketers use day to day rather than only marketing theory. Pairing marketing studies with broader business education means graduates can speak to how marketing decisions affect finance, operations and strategy, which matters in real organisations where marketing rarely operates as a fully separate function. It suits students who already know they want to work in marketing specifically, whether in brand management, digital marketing, market research or advertising, and want a degree that builds toward that career from the first year rather than treating marketing as one elective option within a broader commerce degree.
