Monash University, Melbourne, VIC, Australia
About this program
The Bachelor of Physiotherapy (Honours) is a four-year degree taught on campus at Peninsula with a February start, preparing students to qualify and register as physiotherapists. It combines academic study with intensive clinical training in real healthcare environments, taught by expert physiotherapists and researchers. Students learn to use exercise, movement analysis, manual therapy and specialist techniques to restore, improve and promote health, and to work independently or as part of a healthcare team. International applicants need an overall IELTS of 7.0. The degree meets the requirements for registration with the Physiotherapy Board of Australia. Graduates work in hospitals, private practice, sports and musculoskeletal clinics, aged care, community health, paediatrics and rehabilitation, in Australia and overseas.
