About this program
Monash's Diploma of Business is a direct pathway into the Bachelor of Business and Commerce degree, letting students who don't quite meet direct entry requirements start at Monash and progress into second year of the full bachelor's degree. The first year builds independent working habits, critical thinking and analytical decision-making alongside an introduction to core business concepts, before the second year has students studying the same units as first-year Bachelor of Business and Commerce students directly. It suits students who want a Monash business degree but need a lower entry bar or additional foundational support before jumping into full undergraduate business study, and successful completion leads straight into specialist business and commerce study rather than requiring a separate application process. - The course comprises 98 credit points structured in two parts: Part A. Foundation knowledge (50 credit points) and Part B. Discipline knowledge (48 credit points).
