About this program
Monash University's Master of Business Analytics is a two-year program for graduates in mathematics, statistics, computer science or engineering who want to analyse and interpret data to solve real-world problems. It develops rigorous foundations in statistical thinking, probabilistic modelling and computational techniques, and its structure is deliberately flexible so students can lean toward more computational or more theoretical study depending on their interests. There is one intake per year, commencing in Semester 1. Applicants submit a candidate statement through the Master of Business Analytics supplementary form, in which they demonstrate the motivation and academic skills needed to complete the program, and must also meet Monash's English language requirements. International tuition is about A$61,700 per year. Graduates apply their skills across industries, working as statisticians or data scientists in whichever field they choose.
