About this program
Monash University Master of Professional Accounting is a two-year, 96-point degree for graduates from any background who want an accredited accounting qualification. It is structured in three parts: advanced preparatory studies (24 points), mastery knowledge (60 points) and application studies (12 points), with application topics such as forensic accounting, global financial markets and corporate treasury management letting students tailor the degree. Students who have completed a cognate bachelor degree plus an Australian graduate certificate, an Australian one-year honours degree, or equivalent, may receive up to 36 points of credit. Completing the course qualifies graduates for associate membership of CPA Australia and the Institute of Public Accountants, and entry into the Chartered Accountants Program of CA ANZ. Applicants must meet Monash English language requirements. Indicative international tuition is around A$61,700 per year.
