Master of Regulation and Compliance

Monash University, Melbourne, VIC, Australia

About this program

Monash's Master of Regulation and Compliance responds to the growing compliance burden businesses face across banking, corporate governance, employment and sustainability regulation, training specialists who can interpret and navigate that regulatory environment rather than generalist business managers. The degree lets you choose breadth across the regulatory landscape or concentrate in specific areas such as corporate governance, banking and finance regulation, corporate sustainability or global regulatory frameworks, and students can add an international study component including a Berkeley Haas Global Access Program semester. It's aimed at professionals already working in or adjacent to compliance, legal or governance functions who need a formal qualification that keeps pace with an increasingly complex regulatory landscape spanning local, federal and international rules. Entry requires a bachelor's degree with a major or minor in a cognate discipline at a high credit average, or equivalent qualifications and experience. Graduates typically move into compliance, risk and governance roles across the private, public and not-for-profit sectors where up-to-date regulatory knowledge is now a distinct professional specialisation in its own right.
