Bachelor of Business Honours
Murdoch University, Perth, WA, Australia
About this program
Students who achieve strong results in an undergraduate business degree can extend their studies with the Bachelor of Business Honours. The course builds advanced discipline knowledge and develops planning, problem-solving and independent work skills, alongside research, critical thinking, communication and analytical abilities. An honours qualification can support entry into a PhD as well as employment in industry. The course is completed over one year of full-time study, or longer with part-time options, and allows students to examine the subject area of their undergraduate degree in more depth. General management, marketing and HR roles that many business graduates move into are not on Australia's skilled occupation lists in most states, so this degree is a weaker standalone pathway to a points-based skilled visa than an accredited accounting degree. This course is delivered by Murdoch University in Western Australia.
