Master of Business Administration (Global)
Murdoch University, Perth, WA, Australia
About this program
A two-year MBA (48 credit points) that, unlike most Australian MBAs, requires no prior work experience, so it is built for early-career graduates and international students as much as for established managers. The core covers management, marketing, accounting, finance, strategy, and professional ethics, and students then choose a focus area such as business finance, people management, sustainability, health management, or international marketing.
A work-integrated learning component places students with local businesses and government departments for a professional placement or applied research project. It runs face-to-face and online with three intakes a year (trimesters). Entry is a bachelor's degree, or a portfolio route with a CV, a GMAT or GRE score, and an 800-word statement. It suits people using the MBA to change career direction or to build a general management base early rather than to convert existing seniority into a formal qualification.
