Master of Professional Accounting (Advanced)
Murdoch University, Perth, WA, Australia
About this program
A two-year conversion master's (48 credit points) accredited by both CPA Australia and Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand, so graduates meet the academic entry requirement for the CPA Program and the CA ANZ Chartered Accountants Program.
It is explicitly for people without an accounting background: applicants who already hold an accounting major from an Australian university are not admitted. Students work in project teams with industry partners including government agencies, mining companies, accounting firms and real estate organisations, applying accounting and business finance theory to live problems. It runs face-to-face and online with three trimester intakes a year. It suits graduates from other fields moving into accounting, audit, tax, financial forensics, restructuring or enterprise risk work.
