QUT Master of Business (Professional Accounting) can be completed in 1.5 to 2 years full-time. Graduates with a bachelor degree in business or a related field and a GPA of at least 4.0 on the QUT 7-point scale take 144 credit points and finish in 1.5 years; graduates from any other discipline take 192 credit points starting with foundation studies. The course is built in three blocks: foundation studies (48 credit points), discipline studies (96 credit points) and complementary studies (48 credit points). Subject to core unit selection, graduates hold a degree recognised by CPA Australia, Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand and the Institute of Public Accountants, meeting the academic requirements to enrol in their professional programs.
