About this program

The Advanced Diploma of Visual Arts at RMIT University helps students further develop their artistic practice and creative skills across a range of industry contexts, including drawing, painting, installation, printmaking, digital media, sculpture, web design, photography, business and exhibition. Students learn to communicate ideas and concepts, interpret assignment briefs, work collaboratively and independently, select appropriate mediums, work sustainably from studios and workshops, and use traditional, contemporary and emergent technologies. Graduates leave with a sound theoretical and practical knowledge base and the skills to plan, execute and evaluate an artistic career. It is taught in Melbourne.
