About this program
This DB row's old name (Advanced Diploma of Animation) redirects to Torrens' current offering, the Advanced Diploma of Game Design and Development, built on three pillars: asset production, game ideation and design, and game project management. The course runs 10 core subjects plus two electives, moving from 2D/3D asset creation and animation principles into studio-based production units (Game Production Foundation, Rapid Game Prototype) that pair game-design students with game-programming students.
Delivered on campus at Sydney and online, 1.7 years full time (5 trimesters), or 1 year accelerated, with part-time options.
