About this program
The Associate Degree in Business at RMIT University develops professional skills across all aspects of the modern business environment, with subjects spanning marketing, human resources, accountancy and management. Blending the academic and the practical, students explore how these areas work together to enable effective management of a contemporary business, and graduate able to analyse and solve problems, work collaboratively and understand core business concepts, for immediate employment or as a basis for further study. Students work with partner companies on group projects and gain mentorship from senior industry figures. It is taught in Melbourne.

Course structure
- Year 1 In your first year of study
- you will undertake 8 core subjects. These span marketing principles
- business law
- decision-making in a business context
- information systems
- and integrated perspectives. Year 2 In the second year of this associate degree
- you will undertake 7 core subjects
- covering topics including logistics and supply chain management
- human resources management
- entrepreneurship
- financial markets
- buyer behaviour
- and more. You will also choose one elective subject. All subjects in the Associate Degree in Business introduce you to the major streams in the Bachelor of Business

Admissions
