Master of Business Administration

RMIT University, Melbourne, VIC, Australia

About this program

RMIT's MBA is delivered across 2 study periods, with full-time students completing 4 subjects per study period, and can be finished in 1.5 years for students entering with advanced standing (for example from a recent business related bachelor's degree), instead of the standard 2 years. The degree has a strong focus on sustainability, social impact and ethical practice, and includes a capstone Business Consulting subject where students apply what they have learned across the MBA to a real client problem. Students work directly with real organisations on live projects, past examples include AGL on issues such as customer bill shock and the transition to green energy, and the National Gallery of Victoria on reinvigorating Federation Square. International opportunities include an annual study tour elective in Vietnam focused on Asian management issues, along with further study tours in Spain, the US and China offered across RMIT's College of Business and Law, as well as student exchange and the Global Entrepreneurship and Internship Program (GEIP). In the second year, students choose a major or minor from areas including Digital Transformation, Leadership, Human Resource Management, People Analytics and Digital Finance, allowing the degree to be tailored toward tech, leadership or people focused career paths.
