About this program
The RMIT Master of Photography prioritises students' professional photographic practice, centring on image-making and its role in shaping contemporary visual culture. Students are encouraged to challenge the medium technically, conceptually and theoretically, experimenting and creating within studio-based group learning and independent projects, and exploring traditional, experimental and expanded forms. Graduates work as professional photographers and artists, and in visual media, curatorial and education roles.

Admissions
Academic requirements You must have: successfully completed an Australian bachelor degree (or equivalent overseas qualification); OR at least 5 years of professional experience in photography. To have your professional experience considered you must submit with your application a CV and a personal statement detailing your experience.
