Build a rewarding career supporting young children to learn, grow and thrive. The Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care prepares you to become a skilled educator working in regulated children’s education and care services in Australia.
In this qualification, you will learn how to:
develop the knowledge and practical skills needed to design and deliver engaging learning programs for young children;
plan curriculum based on approved Australian early learning frameworks;
support children’s development and wellbeing;
contribute to the safe and effective operation of early childhood services; and
understand regulatory requirements, health and safety standards, and ethical practice within early childhood services.

Admissions
Completion of CHC30125 Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care (or equivalent) is required for entry into this course. This course requires immunisations and/or proof of vaccination status before attending mandatory work placement. Costs and vaccine requirements may vary depending on your placement centre and/or doctor’s fee schedule. Please follow instructions/advice provided to you during enrolment/orientation. You will not be able to complete your course if these requirements are not met.
