About this program
The Bachelor of Nutrition at Torrens University Australia prepares students to assess the determinants of health and the nutritional needs of communities and broader populations. The course includes an industry-led group nutrition project supported by an industry partner, giving students practical experience. Students gain a solid understanding of health science, biology and physiology, learn about nutrition in the context of public health, pathology and improving health and wellness, and develop skills to critically analyse, develop and implement nutrition intervention programs, along with specialist subjects such as First peoples culture, history and healthcare, and public health nutrition.
