About this program

The one-year diploma runs four core subjects, one specialisation and three electives, giving a broad foundation in biological and social sciences (Biological Foundations, Human Structure and Physiology 1 and 2, Evidence-based Practice) before students specialise toward nutrition, naturopathy, Chinese medicine or public health.

Elective subjects cover Chinese medicine foundations and diagnosis, botany and herbal manufacturing, complementary medicine foundations, and applied nutrition subjects, functioning as a pathway into Torrens' Natural Therapies or Public Health programs as well as a standalone qualification.

Delivered on campus at Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane and Adelaide and online, 1 year full time or 2 years part time.
