About this program
A three-year broad health degree rather than a clinical registration pathway, pairing a health science core with an applied health major and electives in areas such as health promotion, global health and ecological public health practice.
Students complete a 120-hour work-integrated learning placement in the final year plus professional practice units throughout. The degree is designed as a foundation for honours and then a professional master's such as public health, occupational therapy or speech pathology, or for non-clinical work in health policy, promotion and research. Entry is a selection rank of about 60. It suits students who want a flexible entry into the health sector while deciding on a specialisation.
