About this program
A one-year pathway diploma delivered by UC College over three trimesters at the Bruce campus, worth 24 credit points. It combines first-year business units in management, economics, business decision-making and communication with a required Academic English unit and explicit academic-skills teaching. On completion, students progress directly into the second year of a range of University of Canberra bachelor's degrees, including Business majors, Politics and International Relations and Government. Entry requires IELTS 5.5 or equivalent. It suits students, particularly international students, who do not meet direct entry or who want a supported, English-strengthening first year. UC College runs the same model in Communication, Design, Health, Information Technology and Science.
