Diploma of Health
University of Canberra, Canberra, ACT, Australia
About this program
A one-year pathway diploma delivered by UC College over three trimesters at the Bruce campus, worth 24 credit points, combining first-year health science units with a required Academic English unit and academic-skills teaching. On completion, students move directly into the second year of a range of University of Canberra health bachelor's degrees. Progression into programs with their own selection process, such as nursing or medical imaging, may have additional requirements. Entry requires IELTS 5.5 or equivalent. It suits students, particularly international students, who do not meet direct entry or who want a supported first year. UC College runs the same model in Business, Communication, Design, Information Technology and Science.
