About this program

A two-year conversion master's (48 credit points) taught on the Bruce campus, accredited by both CPA Australia and Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand, so graduates meet the academic entry requirement for the CPA and CA ANZ professional programs.

Thirteen core units cover accounting systems, corporate and management accounting, business finance and auditing, with electives in areas such as risk management, entrepreneurship and revenue law, plus a capstone that can be a research project, an industry project or an internship. It is built for career changers with a non-accounting degree and for internationally trained accountants seeking Australian recognition; applicants who already hold an accounting major from an Australian university are not eligible. No prior accounting study or work experience is required to enter.
