About this program
The University of Melbourne Master of Finance is a two-year, 200-point degree from Melbourne Business School, made up of four compulsory subjects, at least four core subjects, two capstone subjects and up to six electives, with a research pathway available as the capstone. It is designed for students who already hold an undergraduate degree with a major in finance: applicants must have completed financial accounting, corporate finance, investments and derivative securities or equivalents, and those without a finance major are not eligible. A GMAT or GRE score is required unless the applicant completed an Australian or New Zealand undergraduate degree or meets another exemption. The program is recognised by the CFA Institute, covering at least 70 per cent of the CFA program partner requirements. International tuition is about A$66,800 per year. Students work on real consulting projects and graduate ready to work in financial markets in Australia or overseas.
