About this program
The Bachelor of Occupational Therapy (Honours) at the University of Newcastle trains occupational therapists who work with people and communities to help them overcome challenges and participate in everyday activities. Occupational therapists promote health and wellbeing by enabling people to take part in activities important to them, such as caring for themselves and others, working, studying and social activities. Students learn to work with children to reach developmental milestones and to support recovery and inclusion, graduating ready for practice across health and community settings.
