About this program
The Bachelor of Physiotherapy (Honours) at the University of Newcastle prepares students to work across many health settings and complex clinical problems involving the musculoskeletal, neurological and cardiorespiratory systems. The program integrates the clinical and basic sciences with a focus on evidence-based physiotherapy practice, using case-based learning with a strong interdisciplinary focus. Students gain hands-on experience through clinical placements and develop the communication and interpersonal skills needed to work one on one with patients.
