About this program
The Bachelor of Advanced Business (Honours) is the University of Queensland Business School's flagship four-year undergraduate degree, built for high-achieving students aiming at leadership careers in business, strategy or consulting. Honours is embedded in the degree rather than added on afterwards, and students choose two majors from six options, including accounting, finance and marketing, or opt for a research pathway that leads toward postgraduate study. Core courses in information systems for strategic advantage and business analytics and artificial intelligence sit alongside major-specific study such as auditing, behavioural finance or applied market research, and a capstone project closes out the degree. Cohort-exclusive courses and structured networking are built into the program to help students build lasting professional connections, and graduates who complete the accounting major with an extra elective can work toward CAANZ or CPA accreditation. Typical destinations include investment analyst, operations manager and analytics project manager roles.
