The University of Queensland's Bachelor of Computer Science offers future-focused majors in artificial intelligence, cyber security, data science and programming. The AI major teaches students to design and build systems that learn and support responsible decisions rather than only use existing tools; the cyber security major runs in specialised labs that replicate real attack and defence environments; and the data science major covers how organisations collect, structure, manage and optimise data at large scale, supported by mathematics and statistics. International students need IELTS Academic 6.5 overall with no sub-band below 6.0, plus senior secondary English and Mathematical Methods, with Specialist Mathematics recommended. International tuition is about A$48,900 per year. Graduates work across health, finance, education, government, defence and digital services, or continue to honours or postgraduate study.
