About this program
The Graduate Diploma in Agribusiness is a one-year postgraduate program at UQ's St Lucia campus for recent business, agricultural or rural science graduates and for professionals moving into agribusiness. Students gain specialised knowledge of agribusiness management together with business and communication skills, taught by academics and industry experts who address sustainability, globalisation, food security and international trade. The diploma extends the graduate certificate and can lead into the Master of Agribusiness. Graduates work in agribusiness management, agricultural supply chains, trade and marketing, agri-finance and rural policy.

Admissions
To be eligible for entry, you'll need: A bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in any discipline, or 2 years full-time equivalent, relevant work experience (see below). You must have a grade point average (GPA) of 4.0 on a 7-point scale in your previous degree. Relevant work experience means work: in managerial or supervisory roles in any agribusiness firm along the agrifood supply chain, or in any other profession where you’ve built a portfolio demonstrating your agribusiness expertise.
