About this program

The Graduate Diploma in Molecular Biology is a one-year postgraduate program at UQ's St Lucia campus for scientists building high-level knowledge and practical skills in modern molecular biology research. Students gain experience in techniques such as protein engineering, artificial evolution, enzymology, high-throughput screening, molecular cloning, protein purification and LC-MS analysis, and develop advanced knowledge of genes, proteins, genome sequencing and recombinant DNA technology. Admissions

To be eligible for entry, you'll need: a bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in any discipline, with at least one course in chemistry and biology, or a graduate certificate (or equivalent) in molecular biology.
