About this program
Learn to design and deliver high-quality occupational therapy (OT) assessment and interventions to individuals, their families and communities with UniSQ’s Bachelor of Occupational Therapy (Honours). As one of the fastest growing registered allied health professions, occupational therapists work with people across the lifespan to help with injuries, developmental difficulties, illness, chronic health conditions or psychosocial needs to function in their environment. Become a leader in the delivery of digital health care to the many people who have difficulty accessing face-to-face health services. Gain comprehensive training in OT knowledge and skills and put theory into practice when completing 1000 hours of supervised clinical placement required for your occupational therapy registration. Benefit from the opportunity to complete your honours in one of two ways: The practice pathway focuses on industry partnerships and addresses everyday practice topics. The research pathway allows you to create an individual research project (this pathway is dependent on GPA).

Subject pre-requisites: English (Units 3 & 4, C), or equivalent at least one QCAA Science subject (Units 3 & 4, C) or equivalent. Please note: Meeting entry requirements does not guarantee admission. Places within this degree are limited by quota. Quota size is determined by the availability of placements. Where the quota is filled, no further places will be offered.
