About this program

The Bachelor of Veterinary Biology (Exit Only) at the University of Sydney is the standalone science qualification available to students in the combined Bachelor of Veterinary Biology and Doctor of Veterinary Medicine pathway who complete the first two years of biomedical and animal science but do not progress into the full veterinary medicine degree. It covers the scientific foundations of veterinary science, including animal and biomedical sciences core units.
The award recognises the science component completed before clinical veterinary training begins, and can support further study or work in animal science, research or related industries.
