About this program

The Master of Commerce at the University of Sydney Business School is an 18-month postgraduate degree for graduates with prior business study or relevant professional experience who want advanced, industry-relevant expertise in a focused commerce discipline. Students build a foundation in core business areas in their first year, then specialise in one of eight commerce disciplines, add breadth through selective units, and complete a capstone project applying their learning to a real business situation.
Graduates move into advanced positions across private, public and non-profit organisations, including accounting, marketing and other specialist fields. Students can transfer between the Master of Commerce and its extension variant depending on how their study progresses.
