About this program
The Bachelor of Agricultural Science at the University of Tasmania prepares students to address the complex challenges facing modern agriculture through science, innovation and evidence-based decision making. Drawing on the biological and physical sciences, students develop the knowledge and skills to understand how agricultural systems function and how they can be improved to support productive, sustainable and resilient food production. The degree takes a minimum of three years full-time and is based in Hobart, with strong links to Tasmania's agricultural industries.
