About this program
The Bachelor of Geospatial Science at the University of Tasmania teaches students to measure, map and model the world, playing a critical role in decisions that affect society. Students learn the science of collecting, analysing and interpreting geospatial information using advanced tools such as satellite positioning systems, 3D laser scanning and drone-based sensors, and how to manipulate and visualise complex data sets. The degree takes a minimum of three years full-time and is based in Hobart.

Admissions
Admission to undergraduate courses at the University of Tasmania requires completion of a qualification equivalent to a Year 12 education in Australia, or an equivalent AQF Certificate IV or above, or previous tertiary study at Diploma level or higher. Applicants to the Surveying major must have studies or experience equivalent to Mathematics Methods.
