About this program
The Bachelor of Nursing trains students for clinical placement across a state where rural and remote healthcare delivery isn't a special elective topic but the default context most graduates will actually work in. Tasmania's population is spread across small regional centres as much as Hobart and Launceston, and the degree's placement structure reflects that, sending students into rural hospitals and community health settings as a matter of course rather than as an optional rural health unit bolted onto a metropolitan-focused course.
