About this program
The Bachelor of Games Development at the University of Technology Sydney (UTS) builds skills in game design, programming and industry-standard game engines through practical, team-based projects. Students learn problem analysis and decision-making in games development, teamwork, and the ethical, legal and political dimensions of technology.
Commonwealth Supported Places are available to eligible Australian students. Graduates are eligible to apply for Australian Computer Society professional membership, and work in games and the wider software industry. Study takes three years full-time. English requirements are IELTS Academic 6.5 overall with 6.0 in writing.

Admissions
Applicants must have completed an Australian Year 12 qualification, Australian Qualifications Framework Diploma, or equivalent Australian or overseas qualification at the required level. Additional application and selection procedures apply for the IDeA version of this course. Assumed knowledge: HSC Mathematics Advanced and any two units of English. Mathematics Extension 1 and English Advanced are recommended.
