About this program
The Graduate Certificate in Professional Accounting at the University of Technology Sydney (UTS) is a four-subject course covering accounting for managerial decisions, financial management, contemporary business law and economics for management. It is designed for graduates from non-accounting disciplines who want a foundation in accounting, finance, economics and law, either for managerial work or as a bridge into the Master of Professional Accounting.
Study takes one semester full-time. The content is developed with UTS industry partners and focuses on the practical skills used in day-to-day accounting and financial roles. Graduates move into assistant accountant, financial analyst and finance officer positions, or continue into the masters for professional body recognition.
