About this program

The Graduate Diploma in Human Resource Management at the University of Technology Sydney (UTS) is an eight-subject course based on the UTS masters but shorter, covering human resource management, industrial relations, managing change, diversity and inclusion, and the future of work. It gives students theoretical and practical grounding in HR and employment relations.
Study takes one year full-time. Students who perform well can usually progress to the UTS Master of Human Resource Management, which carries Australian HR Institute accreditation. The diploma suits people moving into HR from another field or formalising HR experience.

Completed Australian bachelor's degree or higher qualification, or overseas equivalent, with more than 75% of all subjects completed at pass level (conceded pass not included) OR Completed bachelor's degree with more than 60% of all subjects completed at pass level (conceded pass not included) AND a minimum of 2 years full-time, or equivalent part-time, relevant post-degree professional work experience OR Completed Australian bachelor's degree or higher qualification, or overseas equivalent AND a Graduate Management Admission Test (GMAT Exam) with an overall minimum score of 550, or Graduate Record Examination (GRE General Test)
