About this program
The Master of Professional Accounting at the University of Technology Sydney (UTS) is designed for graduates from non-accounting disciplines who want to enter the profession. Core subjects cover management accounting, financial reporting and analysis, corporate accounting, taxation, business law, economics and financial management, developing the practical skills used in accounting roles.
The course meets the education requirements for membership of CPA Australia, Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand, CIMA and the Institute of Public Accountants, and gives exemptions towards ACCA membership. Study takes about 18 months full-time. English requirements are IELTS Academic 6.5 overall with 6.0 in writing.
