About this program
UTS Master of Professional Accounting is a 72 credit point degree of 12 core subjects, completed in 1.5 years full-time or three years part-time; a 96 credit point Extension version adds four electives and takes two years. It gives graduates the skills for professional accounting practice and meets the requirements for professional recognition by CPA Australia and Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand. Entry requires an Australian bachelor degree or overseas equivalent in a field other than accounting, with more than 75 per cent of subjects passed. Indicative international tuition is around A$52,200 per year. Graduates work in accounting and finance roles in commercial firms, professional advisory firms, industry, government and not-for-profit organisations, including at management level.
