Through the Master of Professional Accounting, you can choose from two specialisations: Accounting Practice, or Accounting Research. Accounting Practice The Master of Professional Accounting (Accounting Practice) provides a comprehensive foundation in essential accounting concepts, principles and applications. Designed to equip you with the advanced theoretical and technical knowledge required for success in a range of business contexts, this specialisation develops the analytical, problem-solving and communication skills needed to interpret, evaluate and present accounting information with confidence and clarity. Admissions
(1) To be considered for admission to this course an applicant must have- (a) a Bachelor's degree, or an equivalent qualification*, as recognised by UWA; and either: (b) the equivalent of a UWA weighted average mark of at least 60 per cent; or (c) at least two years professional experience in a relevant occupation; or (2) completed a Graduate Certificate in Commerce at UWA. *Applicants who have a Bachelor's Degree with a major in accounting, or an equivalent qualification, are not eligible for admission.
