About this program
The Bachelor of Public Health at the University of Wollongong teaches the art and science of promoting population health. Students learn to improve living standards by preventing infectious diseases and poor health caused by unhealthy lifestyles and other societal factors, and by enabling positive mental wellbeing based on scientific evidence. The degree develops skills in understanding research questions, investigating them and applying evidence to promote health and wellbeing in communities. Graduates work in health promotion, policy, epidemiology and program roles across government and non-government organisations.
