About this program
The Bachelor of Science (Computer Science) is a three-year degree covering the design, construction and use of computer systems across both hardware and software. Students study programming, data structures and algorithms, operating systems, compilers and computer architecture, then choose from majors including Artificial Intelligence, Database Systems, Programming Languages, Embedded Systems, Computer Networks and Security Engineering. The degree is delivered face to face at the Kensington campus with Term 1, 2 and 3 entry and is accredited by the Australian Computer Society. Students can take part in the school's industrial training and project-based courses. Graduates work as software engineers, systems and security engineers, data engineers, machine learning engineers and IT consultants across technology firms, finance, government and research.
