Graduate Certificate in Actuarial Analytics
UNSW Sydney, Sydney, NSW, Australia
About this program
UNSW's Graduate Certificate in Actuarial Analytics is a four-course entry point into actuarial science, built for professionals who want to upskill in data analytics, financial mathematics and risk management without committing to a full master's degree. All actuarial courses are accredited by the Actuaries Institute, so the units genuinely count toward professional recognition rather than just general business knowledge. Coverage spans actuarial models, probability, machine learning and artificial intelligence, positioning graduates for roles across superannuation, insurance, banking and broader financial services. It suits people with a quantitative undergraduate background in mathematics, statistics, econometrics, data science or engineering who want a fast, credible actuarial credential, and it also serves as a pathway into UNSW's Master of Actuarial Studies for students who decide to continue toward full actuarial qualification.
