Graduate Certificate in Simulation and Immersive Technologies
UNSW Sydney, Sydney, NSW, Australia
About this program
UNSW's Graduate Certificate in Simulation and Immersive Technologies takes a human-centric, design-led approach to virtual, augmented and mixed reality, training students to understand how simulation and immersive technologies are reshaping industries from media and creative arts through to health, defence, business, education and manufacturing. Rather than purely technical training, the program combines technical knowledge with analytical and philosophical understanding of these evolving practices, focused on human perception and experience as the foundation for deciding how, why, when and where to deploy immersive technology. Delivery is flexible, available fully online or in a blended mode requiring two annual on-campus or industry-partner intensives, suiting working professionals from any industry sector who bring existing domain expertise and want to add immersive technology understanding on top. It suits professionals with deep expertise in a specific field who want a broadening, human-centred foundation in simulation and immersive technology applicable to their existing work.
