Graduate Diploma in Cultural Leadership
UNSW Sydney, Sydney, NSW, Australia
About this program
UNSW's Graduate Diploma in Cultural Leadership draws its eight courses from the Master of Curating and Cultural Leadership, grounding students in contemporary art and cultural theory, a pragmatic understanding of the art world, and key research skills, without requiring the full master's-length commitment. It suits both people with existing backgrounds in museums, galleries, arts organisations or art history extending their qualifications, and career-changers entering cultural leadership from unrelated professional backgrounds. Fully online study is available, though only for domestic students not on an international student visa. As a genuine middle option between the shorter Graduate Certificate and the full Master of Curating and Cultural Leadership, it suits students who want substantial cultural leadership training while keeping open the option to continue into the full master's later.
