Master of Business Administration (MBA)

UNSW's AGSM MBA prepares students for general management and executive leadership roles across business, government, startups and the social-impact sector, combining facilitated class discussions with experiential activities and case studies taught by academics with genuine international industry experience. The 12-month program runs across three consecutive terms with no program leave permitted, reflecting its design for professionals who can take a full year away from work to concentrate entirely on their development, supported by AGSM's international offerings and a strong peer cohort of high-performing leaders from around the world. A dedicated Career Accelerator team works with students throughout the program on career goals and access to AGSM's alumni network, and scholarship offerings recognise the sacrifice of taking a year away from paid work. Entry is based on a portfolio assessment including an undergraduate degree plus at least two years of professional or managerial experience, or at least six years of professional work experience without a degree, alongside a Graduate Management Admission Test score, making this suited to established professionals with genuine leadership experience rather than recent graduates.
