Master of Commerce (Extension)

UNSW Sydney, Sydney, NSW, Australia

About this program

UNSW's Master of Commerce (Extension) follows the same broad, specialisation-driven structure as the standard Master of Commerce but runs longer, giving students more time to build depth across their chosen business discipline or combine study with more substantial work experience or research components. As with the standard degree, the exact content depends heavily on which specialisation a student chooses from UNSW Business School's comprehensive range, spanning areas like accounting, finance, marketing and business analytics. Entry requires a recognised undergraduate degree with a credit average, with alternative pathways available for applicants without a qualifying undergraduate degree through UNSW Business School's own assessment process. It suits students who want the same flexibility as the standard Master of Commerce but need or want the longer extension format, whether for a deeper specialisation, additional foundational coursework, or a more gradual course load.
