About this program

The UNSW Master of Finance is a one-year full-time program, two to four years part-time, of eight courses: four advanced core finance courses and four electives, with specialisations available in Corporate Finance and Investment Banking, or Funds Management. It has two entry points: a bachelor degree in any field with a credit average of 65 per cent or higher, or a bachelor degree with a finance major of at least seven courses. Candidates who have passed all three levels of the CFA exams may receive 12 units of credit. International tuition is about A$44,200 per year. Graduates move into roles such as financial analyst, investment associate, risk analyst, portfolio assistant and business finance consultant, typically in banking, financial services or corporate finance.
